  • 2004: Academia continues to advance transmedia with CUNY adding a media lab
  • 2010: Producers Guild of America adds the title “Transmedia Producer”
  • 2011: The Lizzie Bennet Diaries became the 1st transmedia series to win an Emmy
  • 2013: Defiance becomes the 1st TV show to launch with a transmedia story arc
